When you order Main Cattle Co. beef, you’ll choose 1/4, 1/2, or whole beef. What exactly does that mean?
Instead of buying individual cuts like you would at the supermarket, we offer whole or partial carcasses. When we process a carcass you will get your share of the entire weight of the carcass, for example, if a carcass weighs 800 lbs, you would get 400 lbs of beef with a 1/2 share.

All packages include steaks, roasts, ground beef, and any specialty cuts you might like.
When we process a carcass, we age the meat 10-14 days before processing the meat. Generally, it will take two to three weeks to process an order once it’s harvested. Once your share is processed, it is wrapped in freezer-grade plastic and paper so that your meat will have a longer freezer life. Once it is wrapped, it is transferred to the deep freezer to ensure each package is completely frozen prior to you picking it up.
